Hello Intercessor – Monday February 13th, 2012!

You are not a Grasshopper!

The Power of Prayer and Intercession has extraordinary results. Consider this:

“But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘We are not able to go
up against the people, for they are too strong for us.’ So they gave out
to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out,
saying, ‘The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a
land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in
it are men of great size. There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of
Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in
our own sight, and so we were in their sight.’" Numbers 13:31-33 NASU

God has equipped you to get your victory with every prayer that you pray. Notice that in the above verses that a bad report was given out. They said, “It can’t be done, there are not people or weapons in our arsenal to give us a victory”, and finally, “we feel so small compared to the problem”. Sounds like most Christian comments I hear today concerning prayer. However, we are not weak as some suppose. Just look at these three sets of scriptures.

Acts 4:10 “let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified,
whom God raised from the dead — by this name this man stands here
before you in good health.”

Acts 16:18 “She continued doing this for many days. But Paul was
greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, ‘I command you
in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!’ And it came out at
that very moment.”

Phil 2:9-11 “For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and
bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at
the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue
will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Always use the Name of Jesus, when you are praying. You cannot use it too much! You CANNOT WEAR OUT HIS NAME! You as a saint have the only weapon that can push back the enemy. What takes back territory from the enemy is faith in the Name of JESUS. Have complete faith in HIS Name!

Once you see yourself as already victorious in prayer and intercession, you will never again see that the problem is larger than the solution. You will never again see yourself as a grasshopper. You will see big, pray BIG, and succeed BIG!

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the
Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or
tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary,
and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow
weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who
wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with
wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and
not become weary. Isaiah 40:28-31 NASU

Keep interceding and you’ll find new strength that you never had before! You’ll be lighter, younger, and stronger, than your friends that are of the same age. Fear nothing as you enter His presence in prayer and intercession, as you place your prayers upon the throne of God

In general, pray for these things list here, and the list shown below.

We need you INTERCEDING! You are the one that will make the DIFFERENCE!

A. Pray that many are encouraged to watch our television programs every Sunday morning without distraction. Pray that many others attend Mountain Faith Church weekly and bi-weekly. Pray that many learn to supplement their Sunday experience with our TV programs, and live on-line viewing, before or after they attend their own local church.

B. Also pray that our viewership expands vastly, that we reach more of the lost and dispirited, more of those who need more of God in their lives. Pray that our partnership program increases, and that our intercession teams expand around the country and around the globe

C. Pray that I have time to study and read and learn FASTER! Pray that I learn Hebrew faster, study ancient Hebrew history and interpretation faster, that I connect my studies of the End-Times faster, that I write books faster! Pray that we grow our ministry and church faster, that people connect with us faster, that we go on more stations faster, and that we get out of debt faster!

D. In prayer all this new year of February 2012, pray for great revelation like we have never had it before, greater each time the Word is delivered! Pray also that understanding comes to ALL those who watch our broadcasts, attend our church, review our materials, listen to our online messages, and watch us live.

E. Also remember, that your goal is intimacy with God. The more you intercede and press the point into heaven, the more intimate God the Father will become with you!

Hello Intercessor – Thursday February 1, 2012!

There was No One to Intercede! Part 2

“He saw that there was no one, was amazed that no one interceded. Therefore his own
arm brought him salvation, and his own righteousness sustained him.” Isaiah 59:16 CJB

In this second dealing with this specific scripture, you should know and understand that all of mankind is being victimized by the Satan. They are powerless to stop the harassment and they are unable to end the bondage. All of mankind, except those that are saved. And out of those that are saved, only a handful knows how to operate in the power of God.

“Then Amalek came and fought against Israel at Rephidim. So Moses said
to Joshua, "Choose men for us, and go out, fight against Amalek. Tomorrow
I will station myself on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand."
And Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought against Amalek; and Moses,
Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. So it came about when Moses
held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down,
Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and
put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands,
one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the
sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of
the sword. Exodus 17:8-13 NASB

First, you as an intercessor must realize that intercession is a role of the church, not a role of the lead minister. Without intercessors, the fallen angelic forces will push against the church, because the angels of Heaven are not dispatched by your prayer. Like Aaron and Hur, you are responsible to make it easier for all the church to have victory. Notice that the GOOD PEOPLE OF ISRAEL were losing, only because Moses hands became heavy, not because they had committed any sin!

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm
against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against
flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against
the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of
wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor
of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having
done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING
GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON
THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod
YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF
PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which
you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray
at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with
all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my
behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my
mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it
I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Eph 6:10-20 NASU

Second, Bind and Loose in everything you say in prayer! Don’t stop or give in. Don’t get tired! Pray for me and everything that I put my hand to, so that my hands do not grow tired. Bind every distraction from this ministry, the employees, volunteers, the partners, and the intercessors. Pray for all the saints connected to this ministry.

But look again at the very last part of this section of scripture,

“and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in
the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the
mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains;
that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Eph 6:19-20 NASU

Thirdly, you must know that I take ministry to you very seriously! I want to make sure, since I am bound in this ministry to you and hundreds of thousands of others, that I speak with all boldness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that I have time to study (I received a Word from one of the intercessors which was a challenge for this ministry to accomplish “can I learn fast enough?”.

Pray that I have time to study and read and learn FASTER! Pray that I learn Hebrew faster, study ancient Hebrew history and interpretation faster, that I connect my studies of the End-Times faster, that I write books faster! Pray that we grow our ministry and church faster, that people connect with us faster, that we go on more stations faster, and that we get out of debt faster!

There was No One to Intercede!

“He saw that there was no one, was amazed that no one interceded.
Therefore his own arm brought him salvation, and his own
righteousness sustained him.” Isaiah 59:16 CJB

Scripture makes it clear that intercession as we know it today, 2,000 years after the birth of the Messiah, was not the same before His time on the earth. Before Christ, victory was brought through the Law, since then Victory is brought about by intercession to the Father, in the name of Jesus. When one looks at the concept of intercession before the Light of the Gospel, it is vastly different then what we have as spiritual weapons today.

“If one man sins against another, God will mediate for him; but if a
man sins against the Lord, who can intercede for him?" I Samuel 2:25a NASB

You as an intercessor make up the sixth most powerful branch of Gods Government in the Earth. The first five are,

“And God has appointed in the church, 1) first apostles, 2) second prophets,
3) third teachers, then 4) miracles, then 5) gifts of healings, 6) helps,
7) administrations, 8) various kinds of tongues. All are not apostles,
are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they?
All are not workers of miracles, are they? All do not have gifts of healings,
do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do
they? But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more
excellent way.” 1 Corinthians 12:28-31 NASU

The key word is in verse 28 is HELPS. This term in the Greek is NT:484, “antilepsis” (an-til'-ape-sis); Relief. From NT:482; to take hold of, to seize, to remove. It suggests a more violent type of ministry than the others. This is a root word for one such English word as ‘antihistamine’.

In one very clever way of describing it, you are responsible for the church breathing better. You clear the head of infirmities that otherwise might cause the first five ministries to be miserable while they conducted their daily calling.

Today is also the day of the week where we will intercede for the all the intercessors. One intercessor told me, “I’d rather tell you I have ‘UNMENTIONED NEEDS’. Another words, there are many of you with needs, and we do not want to forget about one another. Today, lift up the needs of each, other that only the Father and the other intercessor knows about.

Also remember, that your goal is intimacy with God. The more you intercede, not just pray, but press the point into heaven, the more intimate God the Father will become with you!

How can Two Walk Together unless They Be Agreed!

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”Amos 3:3 KJV.

Kathy & I have been married for 34 years. We’ve struggled many times, but we stayed together. Someone asked me a long time ago, “does your wife agree with everything you do?” That’s silly, of course not. Nor do I agree with everything she has ever done or thinks. However, we made an oath to stay married, and by doing so we recognized that it was easier to keep our oath to one another by setting common goals.

'You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two
kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds
of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material
mixed together. Lev 19:19 NASU

Our goals and hopes had to produce the same kind of fruit. One of us could not attend one church, and the other attend a different church. One of us could not believe in healing the other only trust in medicine. One of us could not trust God wholly, and the other not care for God at all. Marriage becomes easier when we DECIDE to knit our hearts for a common purpose.

I can tell you, that not only are men and women inherently different, but many married people are not from the same part of the country. They come from different backgrounds, different cultures, and different experiences.

The same is all true for the Body of Christ. We are all believing God, but do we by choice believe for the same outcomes? This is where spiritual warfare against unity is at stake.

“Two are better than one because they have a good return for
their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his
companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not
another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together
they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one
can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord
of three strands is not quickly torn apart.” Ecc 4:9-12 NASU

Having common goals in Intercession defeats the enemy, and grants our requests and petitions from God the Father.

It is an act of your will to resist division, and to accept unity. Not only an act of your will however, but a move contrary to

forces that would keep us apart, and weak.

“Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will
chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by

Today, Bind and Loose using the Our Father Prayer!

Look at Matthew 6:9-13,

“Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

' Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

' Give us this day our daily bread.

'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

[For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]” NASB

Now, this is what we are doing and asking by praying this prayer:

1. “Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

Pray addressing Your Father in Heaven, He is the Only Being capable of fixing what you need fixed! Glorify His Name and the Name of His Son Jesus!

2. …Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Ask Him to Bring the Kingdom of God to the Earth, by whatever means necessary. Ask Him to teach you to intercede in a way that Proves that the Kingdom of God is at hand. His Kingdom in authority here in the earth. Through you and me, us as believers, we bring it down by exercising the Kingdom of Heaven. Since we know His will, this is easy!

3. …Give us this day our daily bread.

God knows that you have needs, and the devil is a liar, so he will try to get you to live below the standard God has in mind for you. You must ask God for daily monies, daily food, and the daily commodities of life. Bread here is not food, but all the necessities of living a victorious lifestyle. God wants you to be debt free, live in a home, have a car that runs well, send your kids to college, and have other basic needs met. Go ahead, ask for your daily bread, not merely a subsistence (survival) living.

4. …And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Get over whatever you are holding onto. Forgiveness doesn’t release the other guy anyway, it releases you. By doing so, your own prayers are heard in heaven, and answered quickly by the One and Only True God in Heaven!

5. …And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

Father, bind the forces of evil that would lead me astray from you, or into temptation, or would have me loose heart in you. Block every step I take into a temptation, and keep the thoughts of failure, sickness, fear, or want from my mind, and the minds of those that I am interceding for.
